A long overdue post that ends with me asking for money

Faithful, beautiful, handsome, and smart readers of mine,

I have broken the golden rule of blogging, which is, “Only start a blog if you’re able to regularly blog, least you upset and disappoint your faithful, beautiful, handsome, and smart readers.”

Please accept my humble apology, and be entertained by what I deem to be an appropriate excuse for my absence. I have had a crazy, crazy summer. I’m all moved into a new house. I have adult responsibilities now – like making sure the lawn gets mowed and the recycling gets sorted. But the most exciting part of my summer is right around the corner, and my life is about to change…

Last year I was featured in a short documentary film called Juggle & Cut. It was produced by my brother, and directed by my former film student Caleb Slain (go watch The Lost and Found shop – he directed it and he plays the virgin). Juggle & Cut is phenomenal, and I want as many people as possible to see it. That’s why we’re preparing it for the film festival circuit.

But that’s not all. I’m also in the midst of finishing up my book, and it’s time to start raising funds for marketing (because, let’s face it, this website is pretty ugly). We decided to combine the campaigns for Juggle and Cut and It Never Ends and set out to raise enough money for both.

We have just launched a Kickstarter campaign, and words cannot possibly express how appreciative I would be if you supported these projects. There are also some great rewards for your contributions. You can find the information here.
